Cancellation Policy
Coastal Breeze Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy (Online Booking) Applies to: Online-booked Diagnostic Service Calls and In-Home Estimates with Coastal Breeze Heating & Air Conditioning (“Coastal Breeze”). 1) Appointment Confirmation & Arrival Windows - When you book online, you’ll receive a confirmation by text/email. - Appointments are scheduled within a service window. We’ll notify you when your technician is en route. 2) Rescheduling (No Fee) - You may reschedule at no charge with at least 24 hours’ notice. - Reschedule by using your confirmation link or contacting us through our website: CoastalBreezeSD.com. 3) Cancellations - Cancel 24+ hours in advance: No fee. - Cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice: A late cancellation fee of $75 may apply (see Fee Details below). 4) No-Show / Not Accessible - A No-Show fee of $125 may apply if: - No one is present at the property during the scheduled window, or - We can’t access the equipment/space (locked gates, pets not secured, tenant not available, etc.), or - The phone number provided is unreachable after reasonable attempts. 5) Fee Details & Payment Authorization (Online Booking) - By booking online, you authorize Coastal Breeze to charge the applicable late cancellation or no-show fee to the payment method on file (if collected), or to invoice the responsible party. - Diagnostic fees (if applicable) are separate from cancellation/no-show fees and are due at time of service. 6) Exceptions (We’ll Be Reasonable) - We may waive fees for: Verified emergencies (medical, family emergency), severe weather or unsafe conditions, Coastal Breeze scheduling changes (if we need to reschedule you, there’s never a fee) 7) Same-Day Requests & Priority Slots - Same-day or “priority” appointments may require a deposit and may have a shorter cancellation window disclosed at checkout. 8) Commercial / Property Management Bookings - Commercial properties, property managers, and tenants booking on behalf of an owner must ensure: Site access is arranged, a decision-maker (or authorized contact) is available, thermostat/equipment areas are accessible. If not, no-show rules may apply. 9) How to Cancel or Reschedule - Use your confirmation link or contact us via (760) 370-4029 as soon as possible to avoid fees. Cancel/reschedule 24+ hours before your appointment = no fee. Less than 24 hours may incur a $75 late cancellation fee. No-shows or inaccessible properties may incur a $125 fee. Fees may be waived for emergencies
